Text Box: The Big Idea.
We have had ideas of how we could   involve the community, local business and societies, our best   being the T-shirt fashion show!
We feel that it would be good for T-shirt designers to include, a picture, symbol or word that describes their business, club or organisation and then show their designs as part of a fashion show.
The fashion show will be an event, serving cheese, wine and soft drinks an enjoyable   social event that all the family can enjoy.
We really want to make it a community project!
The fashion show is planned take place in January 2010. We hope that organisations, societies and  clubs will sign up and be creative with not only their designs, but also their catwalk routines.
The audience at the fashion show will vote for the prize winners. After this we will collect all the T-shirts designed and take them with us to Ghana, as a present to the children in the Orphanage.

Text Box: What you need to know:
Who Should Enter?  Ideally we want every group, Sports club, organisation or business in the locality to enter. We are also hoping that our schools and other groups we are members of will take part. So  hopefully everyone from the toddler group to the Tearooms will enter.
What is involved? All that is needed is a plain T-shirt and some good ideas. There are many ways to create a  T-shirt; on the internet or using fabric paints and fabric pens. All of these methods work and are relatively cheap. All we ask is that you design incorporates something   relating to our community, or the business/group.
What size of t-shirt should be used? Any size of t-shirt will be fine. Hopefully we will end up with a wide range of different sizes.
Are there any limitations? The only restriction is that the t-shirts must be suitable for children and young people.
How much does it cost to enter? Entry costs £5 for each organisation. You will then need to buy your own  t-shirt and decorate it.
Can there be more than one t-shirt? Yes, we are     hoping that some groups and organisations will put     together a catwalk performance. A number of performers can be involved and they may all wear the t-shirt design, but only one t-shirt design can be entered into the      competition and at least one T-shirt must be available for us to take to Ghana.
Am I allowed to cut my T-shirt and can the design be anywhere on it?: Yes, of course, as long as it starts off as a T-shirt and the finished product is wearable. And yes the design can be anywhere visible on the T-shirt.
